I am a 55 year old home inspector/educator and married for 25 years with 4 children. I took two of my children, Sarah (18) and Gabriel (21), to meet Sarah Palin at a book signing in Plano Texas the other day. We drove 160 miles and had to wait 6 hours (most of this was in freezing temperatures). It was a wonderful morning and all 1500 people were excited at the thought that Sarah Palin would shake our hand and we could finally meet her face to face.
The first time I saw Sarah Palin was when she stood on the Republican convention stage with John McCain. After I heard her speak and saw her holding son Trig, I began to weep. She seemed like an impossible dream that such a person was actually breaking through the Washington beltway. I thought to myself that God has not abandoned us and has heard our prayers.
I am still weeping to this day. I feel that I am witnessing history in the making.
Sarah Palin inspires TRUST because we see and hear so many of the rare qualities that you never see in politicians today. She choose LIFE for a handicapped child, instead of ABORTION. She fought CORRUPTION, even in her own party, while in Alaska. She wants what is best for the COMMON MAN and a country that returns to the CONSERVATIVE principles of the CONSTITUTION. She promotes SMALLER government and less TAXES. Sarah wants an economy unshackled by endless bureaucrats . She believes in a strong national DEFENSE, even though she has a son in the military. Sarah Palin is not afraid to speak about GOD and VALUES in public. She is a breath of clean crisp air that is breathing life into MILLIONS of good people who are now standing up with her.
Millions of traditional American, who have never protested or been political activist, are now hitting the streets to carry the FIRE that Sarah Palin has put in their soul. Perhaps God has raised up Sarah Palin “for such a time as this”. I even helped start a conservative tea party group in east Texas recently.
America was purchased by the blood of our fathers and must not be taken from our sons and daughters. We must save our country from the hordes of socialist, corrupt leaders, decaying schools, violence in the streets, jobs going overseas and the attacks on the history of our founding fathers who called Christ their LORD.
My whole family loves Sarah Palin and we would wait in line again to see her.
